Assumburg Castle got a modern look in 1546 and, despite the presence of a defensive moat, is just a beautiful house. It did not take part in any battles, as the building is only an imitation of a real castle.

booking.com ) opened in the castle. We planned to stay there, but all rooms were booked. The place is quite unusual and better to book in advance.
