The Ostrog Monastery is a working Serbian Orthodox monastery in Montenegro, founded in the XVII century. The main temple is located in the rock at a height of 900 meters above sea level. On Fridays and weekends, in addition to numerous tourists, many local pilgrims come here. Waiting time in the queue at the entrance to the upper monastery can grow up to several hours, as it is one of the most visited religious places in Europe. On any day better come after 4 pm, when the number of visitors decreases.More information on Wikipedia
