Be informed. We planned to drive from the town up to the castle by car, but it turned out that all roads were closed. So we had to park in the town and walk up. If you want to get there by car then look for access through the street Allée du Roi de Rome.

Getting there: Nearest railway stations are Gaillon Aubevoye and Vernon. Further on buses 220, 290, 200 or 530, find timetable here.
