Verhovyna is a village located in a picturesque place along the river Black Cheremosh. The village is location quite high, the lower part at an altitude of 620 meters and the upper reaches 1,250 meters. The village is worth coming for exploring the beautiful places, rafting (village has a rafting school) and for exploring the Hutsul culture. We even had lunch in a real Hutsul house. Tried several local dishes:

Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors ". The film tells about the life of the Hutsul and for better transmission of the atmosphere director lived with this Hutsul family.
