Yaremche is a resort in Prykarpattia on the Prut river. Its most known landmark is the Probiy waterfall which attracts the extreme water tourism lovers. It is one of the most affluent waterfalls of the Carpathians. The height is 8 meters.
Touristic agencies usually bring tourists to Yaremche to see the waterfall, shop at the local souvenir market and have a dinner in "kolyba" (a restaurant with national Hutsul food).
However, we found one more attraction in Yaremche - a trolley above the Prut river (we had a ride on a similar trolley above the lake in Zelenogorje, Crimea).
Getting there: By bus or local train from Ivano-Frankisvk or Lviv.
