We visited a lot of beaches in Montenegro, but most of all we liked the sandy beach Plavi Horizonti (Blue Horizons). It is located in the bay and surrounded by olive and pine trees. We decided to go along the right bank and sit under the pine trees on the pebbles. It's not as convenient as on the sand, but there's shadow here and the sea is deep enough near the shore. If you stay in the middle of the sand beach, then you'll have to walk about 100 m until it will be normal depth to swim. The beach is crowded during the high season.

Getting there: There's a bus from Tivat. Taxi from Tivat costs from 12 euros, from Kotor 15-20 euros. Of course, it's better to go by car.Tags, Montenegro: animals , beach animals , beach
