Modena is known primarily as the birthplace of Enzo Ferrari. The most famous landmark in the city is a house-museum of the famous car-designer (http://museomodena.ferrari.com/). However, we have not visited it (42 on map). The city also is a homeplace to famous tenor Luciano Pavarotti.

Besides the museum, there is a well-preserved old town, where we walked for several hours. Everything is close, so you don't need public transport. Official website offers a good map, use it.

Top of the tower can be visited, although only on foot. Photos there can be made with a phone or small camera due to a lattice on the windows.
