Korsun-Shevchenkivskyi is a small town in the Cherkasy Region with gorgeous nature. It may be a perfect place for a picnic or just weekend relaxation. Main sights of the town are the palace of Lopukhin-Demidov and historical and cultural reserve. Our goal was to rest near the Ros river, which flows through the town.
The nature near the water is awesome. Multi-sized granite shores and boulders create beautiful landscapes. If the day is hot, be sure to take a swimsuit with you, because in some places the rocks form "pools" where you can swim.
The beauty of this trip was in the river and its rocks and rapids. Huge boulders with mini waterfalls among them lay in the middle of the river and it's possible to jump from one rock to another. We had a lot of fun :)

Getting there: Korsun-Shevchenkivskyi has a railway station, but it's much farther from the park than the bus station. We went there by bus from the Vydubychi metro station in Kyiv.
