Afionas village is the best sunset place in Corfu

There are many places to see the sunset in Corfu, but we liked the village of Afionas the most. It is a very nice place and we recommend it.

In recent years, the village has been renovated, an excellent parking lot was built. It is also used by tourists who walk to Porto Timoni beach.


From the parking lot you walk through picturesque streets, many houses decorated with flowers. This is one of the few, if not the only village on the island built in the traditional Aegean style: white walls and blue windows.








A small cafe has been installed on the viewpoint. There is also a restaurant nearby.


And quite a few benches. As you can see, the sun sets here not just over the sea, but also over the islands, which gives the sunset a special beauty.
