Am Steinberg playground and viewpoint at Goslar

A little-known option for a trip with children in the Harz Mountains, although you can come here without children. Mount Steinberg can be climbed by car, there is a large parking lot. There will be many cars there, most come for the purpose of hiking mountain trails. There is a nice playground right by the parking lot. There are tables, so you can have a picnic.




If you walk a little further along the path, you can reach the viewpoint at Goslar (51.898167, 10.403917). The walk through the mountains is easy and picturesque, we recommend it.












Here and there, benches with a view are set up, one was created by three daughters as a gift for their mom.




Not far from the playground there is the Steinberg Alm Zum Rösner restaurant (51.898806, 10.397806) and a little further away is the Steinbergturm observation tower (51.906444, 10.405500).
