There is an interesting park Amazonico in the center of city Tena, which is surrounded by rivers Rio Tena and Rio Pano. We can say that it's a jungle in the city. The entrance to the park is through an unusual bridge.
There is an observation deck on the top of the bridge, though nothing special to watch.

In the park, as well as in many other places in Ecuador you need to register, indicating your country. The park looks like a primary jungle with paved hiking trails. It was pretty wet after the rain, but we were in rubber boots.
The park has a lot of animals, some of them are walking freely and you can feed and pet them.
Of cource, don't play with this one :)
Funny parrot.
