Emirates Palace is a luxury hotel in Abu Dhabi. Its construction cost $3 billion and it is the second in the world by construction costs after Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. The hotel is owned by the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and managed by the Kempinski chain.
We didn't stay in the hotel, just went for a walk. If you have enough money, book on booking.com. In the hall you can find a presentation of the city for 160 thousand people, which will be located on the artificial Saadiyat island near Abu Dhabi. The project is really ambitious, check out a video presentation here.
The entrance is free, but if the rules change, you can say that you are going to the restaurant. Actually, this is a standard option for any hotel :) Remember the dress code, shorts are not allowed. There are a lot of guards inside, but you can take pictures, just behave quietly.
Hotel interior and rooms are decorated with gold and marble. The lobby is very large, you can easily get lost here and everything just shines with gold. Gold is everywhere, even in food - every year about 5 kilos of edible gold is used to decorate desserts. If something in the hotel looks like gold - this is gold. In 2010 the world's first "gold machine" was installed there. Just insert a card, and you'll get a gold bar or coin.
Some photos from the official website. Room rates start from $500 per night (March is a semi-high season).

Getting there: Go to Abu Dhabi waterfront, then move to the left until the end. If you have a car, you can even park in the underground parking at the hotel.
