Göcek is located on the Dalaman-Fethiye highway, so tourists often come here. Also, its photos can be seen in the promotional brochures of the region. In reality it is the main Turkish port for yachts and if you do not like yachts, then it's almost nothing to do here.
The only entertainment we saw was a cruise around the islands.

The promenade is blocked by the fence and yachts. The only beautiful place is near Portville Hotel (
36.750651, 28.943978), where quite nice villas are built. However, even here it is not possible to walk normally, due to electric cars and scooters that are constantly driving along the only path.

The town itself is a typical Turkish small town, with many stores and restaurants.
