Boncuklu beach - the best beach in Fethiye

There are several nice beaches on the Fethiye Peninsula. They can't be called city beaches, but they are quite close to the center and can be reached by cab, car or bicycle.

We drove around the peninsula in a circle, the place is beautiful. And for swimming we stopped at Boncuklu beach. As of 2022 almost the whole beach area is paid, 10 euros (200 liras) per person. The free section is very small and there is almost no parking near it.

The beach is probably the most well-kept among the beaches we visited near Fethiye. It has clean water, good entrance, there are fish and there is even a small promenade where you can walk. There is also a restaurant, and the food can be brought right to the sun beds.
