The hotel looks more as a guesthouse or as a normal big house, it just gives it a special charm. We booked a room on the second floor overlooking the ocean for $125. Also, second floor has a large terrace, where we had dinner with a food from the supermarket Metro, which is located two blocks away.
The territory of the hotel and the interiors are full of paintings and sculptures. It is not surprising, because the house belongs to the most famous painter and sculptor of peru Victor Delfin (wiki), and it is managed by his daughter. "Kiss" (El Beso) in the Love Park in Miraflores is the most famous sculpture of the Delfin. The symbol of Lima depicts the sculptor himself and his wife.
As you can see there are no other guests on the photos. Actually, we have not seen them since there are not too many rooms here and we walked almost in empty house. In the evening you can watch a beautiful sunset.
The house is home to few dogs and cats, they are very friendly. The cat even came to us in the evening and "knocked" the door, we let him in :)
Getting there: The hotel is located in Barranco, at the end of the street Domeyer, a stone's throw from the Bridge of Sighs. Better use a taxi.
