The Tvindefossen waterfall has a height of 152 meters and is located near the town of Voss, which is famous by the most expensive water in the world. The waters in the waterfall increase sexual potential, so hundreds of thousands of tourists come here to get water into the bottle.
Water in the waterfall runs over the set of stone steps, forming many small waterfalls. You can get to the top of the waterfall by a wild trail. There's a small shop and camping on site.
In 2009 we were alone near the waterfall, but in the 2018 this place became a real tourist conveyor. 10 tourist buses visited it during 30 minutes while we were there. Therefore we cannot recommend anymore to visit this place in the high season.
Getting there: Parking N 60 43.552 E 6 29.391. Take the bus #950 in the direction of Gudvangen/Sogndal from the train station in Voss (12 km, schedule). Voss can be reached by train from Bergen (1 hour 15 minutes) or Oslo (6 hours). You can also arrive by bus from Bergen, Oslo, or Lillehamer, find the schedule here.
