National Park Ta 'Qali is located on the site of a former British military base that was here from 1943 to 1950. If you look at this area in Google maps, then even today is easy to discern the outlines of the runway.

It's hard to understand from the bus where is the bus stop, so print a map or ask a driver to stop near the park Ta' Qali. If you want to get to Valletta, you will need to walk or go by bus to Qali Interchange (3rd stop from Ambaxxata), where on the bus stop Qali 2 take buses 51, 52 or 53 to Valletta.
