Myrtos beach

The most beautiful beach on the island of Kefalonia and one of the most beautiful in Greece. The surface is sandy-pebble, the entrance to the sea is difficult, as the pebbles are quite large. So the beach looks better than it really is. But there is a toilet, garbage cans, shower and cafe.

There are two excellent viewpoints on the road above the beach on both sides.




Getting there: parking on the beach N 38 20.568 E 20 32.193. On the bus you first need to get to Divarata, a village that is 2.4 km from the beach. Next, either go down on foot, or take a local bus to the beach. Find here the schedule, search for Routes -> Summer -> Local - Myrtos & Antisamos. On the same website find the schedule to Divarata, you can get there from Argostoli, Sami, Asos and other places.
