In Essen Grugapark you can find a very unusual building of Austrian architect Hundertwasser. The building is called House of Ronald McDonald and was opened in 2005. For some reason we decided that it was just McDonald's and went there to have a meal in an unusual building. But on site we found out that it was a rehabilitation center for seriously ill children. Ronald McDonald Foundation built more than 250 family centers around the world.here , the Hundertwasser House has the number 11 on the scheme.

here . Beware, there is no entrance near the house and "Ausgang Virchowstrasse" is only exit.
