In a small town of Lütetsburg in northern Germany lies a beautiful old park. It was founded by Baron Edzard Mauritz zu Inn und Knyphausen (1748-1824) in 1793. The park combines many styles: Baroque, Romanesque, English, and Chinese. Entrance fee is 2 euros, which should be inserted in a tourniquet like in metro. The money is then used to maintain the park. Total area is about 30 hectares, it is one of the largest and most beautiful parks in northern Germany. There are lot of songbirds on the trees.
There is also a palace in the park, but now it belongs to the baron's descendants and is closed to the public. However, you can look at it from the outside. In 1956, the palace was burned down in a fire and then rebuilt.

Getting there: By train to Norden and then by bus from the station to the park. The bus trip will take you about 6 minutes. Niedersachsenticket does not work for the bus, you should buy a separate ticket. Or you can walk for about 45 minutes in the direction of Lütetsburg. Direct train to Norden goes from Hannover via Bremen, Oldenburg and Leer. Upon arrival to the park, cross the road and check the bus schedule.
