A new attraction in the Harz Mountains is a 65-meter high observation tower, as of 2025 the highest in Germany. The village of Torfhaus, where the tower stands, is located at an altitude of 800 meters and is the highest in Lower Saxony.
The cost of construction amounted to about 10 million euros. From the top you can go down the slide, it is not scary, we recommend it. Tickets for the slide must be bought separately.
