Wine in Georgia is a national treasure. We visited all regions of the country and everywhere wine was the main product on the table, it was used in the restaurants like water. And a Georgian without homemade wine at home is not a Georgian :)
There are special wine tours in Georgia, but we visited one of the famous factories - Kindzmarauli, which is located in Qvareli and produces Stalin's favorite wine. This wine is made of the Saperavi grape cultivated in the Kindzmarauli micro-zone in Kakheti. The plant has a special shop for tourists, where you can buy products and sign up for the tour, which is conducted by the director of the plant, he loves to do this.

Getting there: The plant is in Qvareli, Kakheti region. The best option would be a one-day tour from Tbilisi with a visit to other places of interest as well.
