Not far from the capital of Ecuador, Quito, in the mountains, there is a thermal hotel Papallacta Therme (booking.com ), located on the sources that exist since the time of the Inca Empire. Quito is also at high altitude, but the hotel is even higher, about 3,300 meters. The place is very quiet and peaceful. The hotel is built by German guy.

Here you can find a map of how to get to Papallacta from Quito. The village is located 67 kilometers from Quito. You need to go in the direction of Tena and Baeza and ask to stop near Papallacta. From the road to the hotel is about 2.5 kilometers, take a taxi for $1.5-2. In Quito you the need to ride from Rio Coca to Cumbaya on a green bus, stop near the Eloy Alfaro street and a large mall.
