In Zaporizhzhya the tourists will be primarily interested in the Khortytsya island, but we have a separate article about it. Here we will look at the city itself and the intricate architecture of the Lenin Avenue, which is one of the longest streets in Ukraine (nearly 11 km).

At the end of the avenue, of course, is a monument to Lenin. Behind the monument are the waterfront and the way to the Khortytsya island.

Getting there: By night train from Kiev. Also in Kiev you can book seats in comfortable buses of the Autolux carrier. The buses leave from the central bus station (Demiyivska metro station).
