At the moment, you can reach the top by the cable cars from Grindelwald and Wengen (timetable). The cable car from Grindelwald will soon be replaced by a new one.
We arrived to Wengen by train from Lauterbrunnen (covered parking N 46 35.910 E 7 54.517). Lauterbrunnen can be reached by train from Interlaken and other places, find here timetable https://www.sbb.ch/en/home.html. Wengen is a pedestrian village, so you can go there only by train.
After arriving to Wengen, do not go directly to the cable car, since this place offers excellent views of one of the most beautiful valleys of Switzerland - Lauterbrunnen.
On the top, at first we went up to the observation deck on Männlichen mountain (2345 m). This walk is called Royal.
From the "crown" our further route is clearly visible. We went back to the top station of the cable car and continued our walk to the Kleine Scheidegg station, which is located behind the mountain. This trail is called the Panorama Trail (profile). At the end of May there was still snow everywhere and the trail was closed. This is not a problem, we went along another path, which is located just below.
The walk was simple, took us 3 hours, beautiful views are guaranteed.
At the station Kleine Scheidegg we took the train and went down to Lauterbrunnen via Wengen.
