Deia Cove and beach (Cala Deia)

An old fishing bay, surrounded by cliffs, on the west coast of Mallorca.




There is a beach here, but it is rather inconvenient and with large boulders, so we cannot recommend it for a beach holiday. Come here for a lunch or just to see a picturesque place.


We visited the bay, after saw it in the excellent British series "The Night Manager" (2016). It was here that the plot began when the hero of Tom Hiddleston saved the son of an arms dealer Hugh Laurie in a restaurant and infiltrated his gang.




This restaurant is actually the main facility in the bay.


Getting there: parking N 39 45.518 E 2 38.490. From the main road to the bay there is a narrow road with many turns, that is a bit difficult to drive.
