El Medano beach on the Tenerife island

El Medano is an excellent, deserted beach in the southern part of the Tenerife island. We came here to swim and walk along the long sand coast. It is also the most windy beach on Tenerife, and therefore popular among windsurfers and kiteboarders.

We stayed at the Hotel Playa Sur Tenerife, it is the last on the waterfront. Pros are the best location and a good dinner, cons is wi-fi, that is avaiable only around the pool.
