This town was convenient for us to spend the night, we stayed at Mo Laksegard (booking.com). In 2018, we stayed in a tourist container with a mini-kitchen at a budget price. But they also have full-fledged cottages.
In the town itself you can take a walk near the fiord and visit few museums.
And also visit an interesting pedestrian bridge Høse bru (parking N 59 28.932 E 6 15.459). On the other side of the Suldalslågen River is a small recreation area. At night the bridge is highlighted.
Getting there: By bus from the cities around Stavanger. Find here the schedule, bus stop in the center is Sand sentrum (Suldal).
