Sand

Sand is a small, picturesque town in the Rogaland county. Located near the Ryfylke tourist route.

This town was convenient for us to spend the night, we stayed at Mo Laksegard (booking.com). They have several tourist containers with a mini-kitchen at a budget price, as for Norway.

In the town itself you can take a walk near the fiord and visit few museums.






And also visit an interesting pedestrian bridge Høse bru (parking N 59 28.932 E 6 15.459). On the other side of the Suldalslågen River is a small recreation area. At night the bridge is highlighted.


Getting there: By bus from the cities around Stavanger. Find here the schedule, bus stop in the center is Sand sentrum (Suldal).
