It was opened in 2006, has a length of 800 meters and a width of 50 meters. Construction cost 14.7 million euros. The bridge is located on the motorway, railway, and industrial zone.
Now the bridge is completely closed by a fence mesh and it is possible to get on it only through the small entrance. Special grating on the ground does not allow animals to get through, only humans.
Look closely, animals can not get to the bridge.
A pedestrian-bicycle path stretches across the bridge. There is also a 30 meters wide strip for animals.
This is best seen from above.
Most likely the bridge is opened at certain times of the year and animals can migrate. And there are quite a lot of them. Even during our visit we saw deer in the distance, but there is also someone like yaks there, so be careful.
On the Google Maps, we found a panorama of one of the entrances where was a black cat (panorama). Surprisingly we met this cat. He either lives on the bridge or likes to spend time there.
Getting there: Parking coordinates N 52 14.930 E 5 09.637. Next, cross the road and go through the gate: 150 meters straight and 300 meters to the left where is an entrance to the bridge. The nearest railway station is Hilversum Media Park (2 km on foot). The nearest town is Hilversum (3.5 km from the city center).
