This is a bridge you've probably seen on the internet, it's quite popular. Notable for the fact that you walk below the water level. It is located on the territory of an old 17th century fort, which was built during the Eighty Years' War to defend against the Spanish.
The reconstruction of the fort began in 2010, with RO&AD Architects designing a new bridge and the Pompejus watchtower (Uitzichttoren Pompejus).
