Peacocks are walking around the territory and constantly screaming.
After the entrance, tourists enter the territory of the former stables. We decided at first that this is the palace itself, as the stables look very impressive.
In the early 20th century, horses were replaced with cars and the stables turned into a garage. Now here exhibited all the historical carriages and cars of the royal family.
A hunting carriage with a compartment for dead animals.
A long alley leads from the stables to the palace.
We did not visit the inner rooms of the palace and went to the gardens through the basement.
The gardens are huge and well maintained, here you can walk for several hours. Since 1686 they symbolized the strength of the royal family of the Netherlands.
