After visiting the Todtnau Waterfall and the suspension bridge, we took the cable car up to the local Hasenhorn mountain. All in all, Todtnau is perfect for a family trip - there’s so much to see here.

The toboggan run here is no ordinary one; the track is quite long - about 2.9 km - making it one of the longest Alpine Coaster-style toboggan runs in the world, ranking in the top 5 as of 2026. The track winds through the forest, featuring many turns, undulations, and several looping sections. The maximum speed is limited to about 40 km/h, so it’s safe even for children. The ascent and descent are well organized. You go up via a cable car and come down on the toboggan run.

From the parking lot, there is a beautiful view of the city and the city’s main Catholic church, St. Johannes Baptist Church, built in the late 19th century in the Neo-Romanesque style with Renaissance and Baroque elements.
