Tower of the Austrian architect Hundertwasser in the town of Abensberg. We visited quite a few of his objects, so we could not pass by. The tower became his last building, he managed to design it as a gift for the region, but construction was completed in 2010, after his death.

Originally planned 70-meter tower was not possible to build. Therefore, Hundertwasser’s friend, Peter Pelikan, redesigned it and made smaller. The tower is dedicated to the Bavarian brewers, for example small houses on the sides symbolize the five main components of beer.

The tower is located on the territory of the brewery. A visit is possible only with a guided tour, but we were late for it, so just looked from behind the fence. Find opening hours and ticket price at the official website.
