Loreley is a cliff on the eastern bank of the Rhine, one of the most beautiful places in Germany. The title once translated as "whispering cliff" due to the waterfall, which existed here until the early 19th century. Lorelei is also a mermaid, as strong currents and rocky banks led to shipwrecks.

Loreley is located in the heart of the Rhine valley. You can reach it by bus #595. Find a bus stop around the place where the ferry St. Goar - St. Goarshausen docks.
