On the way to Svaneti , you will definitely pass the Inguri Dam. Make a little detour and visit this place. It's the largest hydroelectric power station in the Caucasus, built in 1978. The height of the dam is 271.5 meters, and by this parameter it's the 4th largest in the world. For example, the world-famous Hoover Dam is 50 meters lower.
