River Kamianka Canyon (Lviv region)

Kamianka River Canyon is a picturesque natural site near town of Skole. In summer time is't a popular place, so it's better to visit this place in spring or in autumn. The main interest is the picturesque waterfall Kamenka, where you can swim (3D panorama).


On the way to the waterfall near the bridge over the river you will see a sign to a mineral spring with water "Naftusa". This water helps the kidneys.

In the 200-meters behind the waterfall begins the trail to the Crane lake, which is located in the woods on top of the mountain. Its second name is Dead lake as there are no fish here.






Getting there: on foot from Skole (8 km in one direction) or by taxi.
