There are no amusement rides here, as it is a different type of park. Actually, we have not seen anything like it anywhere else. On the webpage of the park you can see the reconstruction of the ancient wooden Kyiv. Judging by the scheme, about 25% of the planned already built.
In 2010 we flew over the park in a balloon and then it was just being built. We did not even understand what it is. A park is being built with money from a charity fund and investors.
After 8 years, the park has expanded significantly.
Nevertheless, the number of buildings is still far from the planned scheme and it is not clear whether the development of the park will continue.
But it is possible to spend the night in the park. This will be relevant if you want to attend some evening and night activities, such as shooting fireballs from the trebuchets.
It is better to come on weekends and visit various activities which can be viewed on the official website.
The main shopping street of the park. Here you can buy souvenirs and attend workshops on ancient crafts. You can also taste dishes from the menu of the ancient Slavs.
On the central square there are always some performances or contests for visitors, mainly for children. They are held regardless of the number of viewers.
We dined at the local restaurant. The prices here were quite high, in contrast to the prices on the shopping street.
Also we recommend the zip-line.
Come here in good weather with children or with a group of friends, the place is interesting.
