We rarely write about hotels and only about those that have something interesting. Park Hotel Switzerland is exactly of this kind (booking.com). We stayed here during a trip from Lviv to Kyiv. Everything was perfect: service, rooms, food. The rooms are full of different useful things, and that's unusual for a hotel with a price starting from $20, so we will not describe them, believe us, everything is fine. The price includes a breakfast. There are also a private beach, a swimming pool and a sauna here.
We were interested in the hotel's location on a picturesque bank of the lake. This is a fabulous place in the evening, at sunset. The only problem I would call the mosquitoes, so if you want to walk around in the evening or sit on the outdoor terrace, then take care of the defense.
The hotel opened in 2012 and is owned by Olexiy Hahlev, son-in-law of Viktor Yushchenko, former president of Ukraine. We hope he will develop a network of similar hotels, because for $20 in many cities of Ukraine nowadays you can stay only in old Soviet hotels.
Getting there: The hotel is located near the Obariv village, on the outskirts of Rivne. You can get here by taxi from the city.
