For over than 50 years a flower show is held several times a year in Kyiv near the Slavy (Glory) Park. The visitors can expect very extensive and unusual floral arrangements. However, it's problematic to get close to them because of huge crowds, so better visit the show on weekdays or at least when the rush is over.
Every year the show has its own theme. In 2007 the theme was travel, in 2009 and 2012 - fairy tales, in 2013 - cars.

Getting there: On foot from the Arsenalna metro station towards the Slavy (Glory) Park and the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra. Or you can walk through the Navodnitsky park (near the Paton bridge) and then climb the stairs.
